Because my company is sponsoring a team!
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
For the 2016/17 season ZF Race Engineering is going to be providing dampers to the team, and is currently developing a completely new drivetrain for the team’s 2018/19 season.
Pretty cool stuff. I may have to ask for tickets to the last two races of the season in NY for my birthday next year.
(I still think Fan Boost is stupid though)

As far as stupid gimmicks go, FanBoost isn’t that bad, at least.
I really doubt it’s that effective at ensuring fan engagement, though - really, the racing product is the important part. Good thing is, Formula E has quite a bit of good talent, and has fantastic close racing.

It isn’t the worst idea I’ve heard of, but far from the best. haha I get what they were trying to do, but like you said I don’t think it’s actually effective.
